EUS MENTAL HEALTH WEEK – 10th to 18th October
Queensland Mental Health Week is an annual awareness week that aims to shine a light on individual and community mental health and wellbeing.
Mental health is a rising issue in Australia and is especially common in Australian youth. Make sure to take time and have a break, reach out if you’re struggling and take care of yourself. Keep an eye out on your friends and make sure to ask if they’re ok.
This year EUS (with our affiliated subclubs), UQ Racing and UQ Social Runners Club are coming together to promote Mental Health Awareness by organising some events and activities for students during QLD Mental Health Week, including;
Yoga and Meditation activities (with SoMME – Registration Required)
When: Monday 12th October, 10am-12pm

Learning from Lived Experience Speaking Panel (With Beyond Blue Speaker: Zerlina Lahz)

Where: The Atrium, Global Change Institute (Building 20)
Social Run (with the UQ Social Runners Club)
When: October 16th, 5pm
Where: Meet on the Cnr of Sir William MacGregor Drive and Upland Rd
